Welcome to the PhD students from the Department of Physics, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), Surabaya, Indonesia to our SoME under the Inbound Mobility program for a month. This program is a collaboration between ITS and SoME under Dr. Muhammad Mahyiddin Ramli in the field of reduced graphene oxide (rGO).

Again, the use a Malay proverb that basically means "What is once lost, will always be replaced with a new one".

In conjunction with the celebration of SoME's Jamuan Aidilfitri, we celebrate the departure of two staff. Acknowledgements and thanks to Pn Azimah bt Aziz and Ir. Nurulazmi b Abdul Rahman who has contributed much during his career at SoME. Pn. Azimah was one of the long-serving staff under SoME, while Ir. Nurulazmi helps a lot in the EAC's accreditation process. Hopefully, the built-in bond of friendship will last forever, and may Pn. Azimah and Ir. Nurulazmi will always be victorious and splendid in the new workplace.

May Allah flood your life with happiness, your heart with love and your mind with wisdom. The SoME wishes Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all students and staff. May Allah bring you joy, happiness, peace and prosperity on this blessed celebration.

Maaf Zahir dan Batin.

Alhamdulillah, this year's annual D'Hati Mikroe program has been organized for the 9th time. The high commitment given by all SoME staff and students is greatly appreciated. May Allah bless the pure effort that has been given.

Salam Ramadan!
