A total of 10 students of SoME have represented UniMAP at the MY STEM Ambassador Leadership Camp from 6-9 February 2020. This program has been held in Universiti Malaysia Terengganu and the Terengganu Science & Creative Center. Our delegation was led by Dr Arif Mawardi Ismail @ Suhaimee.

The objective of this campus is to provide leadership exposure and increase knowledge in STEM education to promote STEM in schools.

Tiviyah Morgan, 2nd Year RK86 Electronic Engineering participated in the 2nd National STEM Seminar 2019 at Centre for Foundation Studies In Science (PASUM), Universiti Malaya on 14th & 15th August 2019 - promoting STEM initiatives and resources by School of Microelectronic Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis and IEEE Malaysia Section (Educational Activities) to teachers, students and parents. #EngineeringAndTechnologyForHumanity #AdvancingTechnologyForHumanity

Wan Rosdi Rozali, 2nd Year RK05 Microelectronic Engineering from School of Microelectronic Engineering Universiti Malaysia Perlis appointed as referee by Perlis Squash Association for Karnival Kokurikulum Kolej Matrikulasi Kebangsaan 2019 (KaKom 2019) from 12th until 15th July 2019 at Kolej Matrikulasi Kedah.

Rosdi, the Vice President of UniMAP Squash Club 2017/18 and UniMAP Squash Team 2014-2018 previously completed Referee & Technical Course and participated in IPT Squash League organized by Yayasan Rakyat 1Malaysia (YR1M) and Squash Racquets Association of Malaysia (SRAM).


Congratulations to Wan Rosdi Rozali, Nur Farhana Ab Razak, Hazwan Haikal Abdul Hamid and Nurul Ain Saparuan, 2nd Year RK05 Microelectronic Engineering students from School of Microelectronic Engineering for participated in 2019 Johor Impact Challenge and completed In-Cert Level 1 (Awareness) and In-Cert Level 2 (Technical Workshops).

2019 Johor Impact Challenge is organized by Collaborative Research in Engineering, Science & Technology (CREST) and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) from 4th July 2019 until 7th July 2019 at UTM Skudai Johor Bharu.

Congratulations to Hazwan Haikal, Nurul Ain and their team for winning 1st Place for Track 1 (Intel) as well as Wan Rosdi and his team for winning 3rd Place for Track 4 (Orienplex).

Hazwan and Ain will receive CREST The Great Lab (TGL) Project Seed Fund and will be participating in 2019 TGL Grand Design Challenge.
